What is this movie (Its a period piece)?
I can't remember and now its kind of bugging me. I saw it once, on tv (it may have been a mini series) and I can't remember it.
Here what I remember - it is set back when there were slaves.
There was a daughter of the 'master' and slave but a young suitor mistakes her for a 'real' daughter of the rich guy which she is but is not considered and he gets really angry when he finds out. One of her half sisters was jealous because everyone liked her.I can't remember more than that. I think it came out in the 90's - may have been a mini series, not sure. Thanks.
It sounds like "The Liberators" (1987) starring Robert Carradine. Its a biography about abolitionist John Fairfield.
Though IMDb doesn't really have a description and Wikipedia keeps going back to an unrelated comic book.
