Is Wade Wilson a Mutant at the beginning of the Movie X men Origins Wolverine?

I have searched the internet and couldn't find the answers I hope some one can help me. I am asking this because he is using those swords like he has super human powers and can cut the bullets into half and stuff. I know then they give him some mutants genes later on to but I don't know if he has any mutant powers before.

They don't spell it out definitively, but I'm pretty sure he was a mutant. The entire team was mutants at the beginning.

Then they kill the team off one by one to steal the abilities and shove them all into Deadpool. Or Weapon XI.

You kind of hit upon the issue with the movie. Poorly written and haphazardly thrown together plot with poorly developed characters.

Michael Carluccio's fans lately are singing a different version of Darin's hit:  "Look out, Detroit, Mikie's back in Motown!"  Back in town with his 1-Man Legend Show, Mike has been entertaining audiences of all ages in his home state and reprising the fabulous, familiar music of the 50's and 60's.

Singer, actor and action-hero impersonator, Carluccio's 1-Man Legend Show is a huge hit with audiences of all ages.  Recreating the swinging, devil-may-care, cool, rat-packish style with his songs and one-line adlibbing humor, the 1-Man Legend Show features Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Neil Diamond, Tom Jones and others.

Resting backstage from his latest performance, Michael welcomes the close interaction with audiences.  "I love the applause and fanfare," confessed Mike.  "But, I get a kick out of the smiles and tears on the faces of the audiences as they reminisce to their music."

By day, Michael dons the makeup and costume for his alter-ego trips as an "action-hero" impersonator.  Bearing an uncanny resemblance to many action-hero characters, Mike has been seen around town lately as the leader of the X-Men, the Wolverine.  Family style restaurants to charity events hire the Hugh Jackman look-alike to switch from his Wolverine's talons to his 1-Man Legend Show tuxedo.  Other venues include birthday parties, special events, reunions, dinner shows, night clubs, grand openings, corporate entertainment, etc.

No stranger to the big stage, Michael has opened for Las Vegas acts such as Al Martino, Bobby Vinton and Connie Francis.  Mike still keeps the memory of his favorite performance as the opener for the Scintas Las Vegas show at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.

Michael is an actor, model as well as a vocalist. He is also a songwriter and recording artist. He has performed on radio and television, in movies and on stage. As a model, Michael has been seen in many prestigious magazines, i.e., HOUR Magazine, Michigan Entertainment (ME) Magazine; Fitness commercials, Providence Hospital medical network.

Michael's most recent film performance was in "Rockwell" as the lead character, Benson Rockwell, a Michigan independent film production, produced by award winning producer Joshua Amir.
