Why is there a difference in price when I put the 2006 Topps factory set on Beckett?
The 2006 Topps Factory Box Set retails for $60 everywhere, but when I go on Beckett and check off all 2006 Topps, they appraise it at $250 dollars. I even left off the Alex Gordons but it still comes out to $85 then.
Obviously dude, you didn't really answer my question. I wanted to know why Beckett is appraising it @ 250dollars when it obviously costs $60.

There's a big difference in what a collectible item is worth, and what it will actually sell for. Things like that are luxuries, not necessities, and as such, their values are elastic. There's no demand for a 2006 factory set at the present time.
Your 2006 topps factory set may appraise for $250.00, but you aren't going to find too many people, if any, who are willing to pay that much for it. If you aren't in a bind, and don't need the cash right away, I suggest you hold on to it. In time, it should grow in value, and then you'll be able to fetch a handsome price for it.
