Depends on what you want to get out of it, and also if you are suitable for that kind of art.
e.g. Like in ancient times, an experienced master would always check any potential disciples and see if their body conditions are more suitable for external or internal martial arts. Some people are just more suitable for some arts.
Like Sumo is obviously for someone of a bigger build. Muay Thai, Choi Li Fut, Kickboxing you would have an advantage if you were a naturally stronger person.
For someone of a smaller figure or not naturally as powerful, [e.g. they had chronic illness growing up] they'll tell you to do something like Wing Chun or Tai Chi or Hsing-I or Pagua, where it doesn't rely as much on physical "power" than as on "other" factors, it also serves health benefits, re-strengthens your body conditions from the "core". something you can practice for a lifetime.
Jiujitsu would also suit small figures, as it's full of techniques.
If you were like a airport special force, good chance you'll face terroists and every second counts towards life and death. You might do some pure-self defence systems like Krav Maga.
