monarchs it has made

haunts the hulking blade
piercing through opposing armor

rival knights who swarm to battle

master of malicious mayhem
servant to the throne
no enemy shall quell my light
vile invading hoard
when all is lost and kingdoms crash

As a hobbyist blade maker, I can appreciate the damascus blade and the awesome force it carries with it for the wielder. This is a nice work, even unto the end when the king's hero, knowing the king is dead and all is lost, falls on his own sword to end life on his own terms.
