Army to Marines do you have to do basic again?

I was just wondering if my son goes from the Army to the Marines will he have to go through basic training again? I can see where it would help, because i'm sure they learn a lot about the Marine history and everything else.

Of course he will..He hasn't earned the right to be called a Marine just because he completed Army basic..

And it helps in alot more ways then history..Army basic and boot camp are not the same thing.
